Every student deserves the opportunity to attend college and achieve upward mobility. Upchieve connects low-income youth with live academic support to help them on the path to achieving upward mobility. To start with, we’re focused on providing free math tutoring to high school students because math skills are essential to finishing high school and pursuing any kind of postsecondary certification.
We offer six months of free, full-time tech training with living stipends and laptops to Bay Area women and non-binary adults with low incomes, then place graduates into jobs with sponsor companies. JDoe is an anonymous, end-to-end encrypted reporting platform for survivors of sexual assault, rape, abuse and harassment to stop repeat offenders. By linking victims of mutual offenders with lawyers, JDoe encourages the pursuit of legal action to catalyze legal success and prevent future offenses. JDoe brings survivors better chances of justice being served plus resources for healing.
