CDC is working through its strong partnerships to increase global health impact and assure the implementation and evaluation of public health programs will result in the prevention and control of diseases and subsequently apply the knowledge gained to other settings. The Thailand MoPH is the key stakeholder to enable CDC to execute its global health strategies and other public health priorities in Thailand and the Southeast Asia region. Over the past several years, a variety of public health approaches implemented by CDC and Thailand MoPH have successfully prevented new infections, improved care and treatment of existing diseases, and strengthened the capacity to collect and use surveillance data.
