412 Food Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger by organizing volunteers to deliver surplus food to insecure communities instead of landfills. Since its creation in 2015, the organization has redistributed over three million pounds of food through the use of its mobile application, Food Rescue Hero. They are currently rolling out the app nationwide.

Fresh EBT is addressing food insecurity by making it easy and secure to check your food stamp balance on your phone. Free and available in English and Spanish.

Tech 4 Housing is a community of tech workers who believe that the tech boom can and should benefit every resident of Seattle. T4H addresses poverty and homelessness through policy advocacy, focused on the goals of legalizing housing, investing in affordability, and protecting vulnerable communities.

Together with their corporate and university partners, Road to Hire (R2H) and Golden Door Scholars (GDS) work to diversify corporate workspace and interrupt cycles of intergenerational poverty by ensuring high school students, college students and young professionals have access to higher education, paid tech training, and high-earning careers.

We have developed 80+ measures for an algorithm that quantifies a jurisdiction’s commitment to equity based on spending patterns across agencies. For K-12 schools, Equity Audit measures include evidence-based approaches that have been scientifically proven to break cycles of poverty like two generational models that upskill parents while providing academic, social and emotional support to kids.

Learning Plans are built by teachers and reflect backward design. The Learning Plan Builder allows you to combine the Learning for Justice Social Justice Standards, Common Core-aligned literacy strategies and student performance tasks with windows-and-mirrors texts from the Student Text library. The result is a comprehensive, literacy-based plan that is both rigorous and relevant.

At One Degree we work with state, county, and local government agencies and partners to improve access to healthcare, food assistance, and other public programs, so that all people eligible for support can receive it.

Founded in 1996, we helped set the standard for health systems and clinics looking to integrate programs that connect people to essential resources like food, heat and housing.

Liftware is a self-stabilizing handle on which you can attach an eating utensil like a fork or spoon. It is beneficial for patients who suffer from Parkinson’s disease or other forms of motion disorders that cause hand tremors. Liftware stabilizes up to 70% of the disruption and helps reduce the spilling of contents from the utensil before food reaches the patient’s mouth.
