Replacing Transportation Fossil Fuels with Sustainably Grown Biofuels
The production and use of fossil fuels is the leading contributor to air pollution in the United States. Transportation, in particular, is responsible for 30 percent of climate pollution nationwide. Biofuels and biodiesels made from corn, algae, and other sources reduce dangerous emissions, though sustainably sourced bioenergy resources are the cleanest alternative.
