High Levels of Fluorocarbon Emissions Despite Expected Reductions
Hydrofluorocarbon-23 (HFC-23) is a greenhouse gas twelve thousand times more potent than carbon dioxide and is being emitted at all-time high levels. Manufacturers report these emissions as being captured and destroyed, but the results indicate these GHGs are still being vented into the atmosphere.
