In August 2013, Scotland became the first nation to join a unique, global group of organizations called the CE100. CE stands for the Circular Economy – a concept that lives through the leadership of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation; an environmental think tank and charity that describes a new operational model for organizations and economies, premised on principles of sustainability.
