Ensuring citizens remember to vote

In the 2016 presidential election, nearly half of the American population did not vote. That is over 160 million people who didn't vote. For some it was an active choice, but as in every election, millions of people simply forgot to turnout or mail in their ballot.

Nature and Context

Remembering when and how to vote can be complicated for some, with local, state, and national elections happening throughout the year. Ensuring citizens are registered, aware of dates, and on top of how/where to vote is key to making sure every citizen uses their voice to determine what happens at every level of government.
