Before the Covid-19 pandemic, up to 1.4 million people in Los Angeles County faced food insecurity. Food insecurity is inconsistent with access to cheap and nutritious food. Los Angeles has the highest percentage of food insecurity in the nation.

Our end-to-end service works in real-time to connect businesses with surplus food to those who need it right now, all while helping businesses understand and reduce their food waste and positively impacting their bottom line.
412 Food Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger by organizing volunteers to deliver surplus food to insecure communities instead of landfills. Since its creation in 2015, the organization has redistributed over three million pounds of food through the use of its mobile application, Food Rescue Hero. They are currently rolling out the app nationwide.
AmpleHarvest.org permanently ends hunger and the waste of locally grown fresh food.
