Social Software The 1600 Pandas project is a global tour of 1600 paper mâché pandas (representing each of the 1600 pandas left in the world) which are photographed occupying various famous spaces around the world. The media attention generated by the project is aimed at helping to highlight the plight of endangered species. The pandas were exhibited at around 100 locations in many countries across the globe such as France, The Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and South Korea to advocate the message of conservation & sustainable development.
