Secure Food Solutions, Inc. (SFS) is developing rapid microbial tests and imaging systems to detect and enumerate dangerous pathogens that threaten food supply chains in the U.S. and around the world. SFS has developed a rapid microbial test platform that provides fast, simple, on-site detection and enumeration of dangerous bacteria like Salmonella, E. coli and Listeria, among other tools.
Feeding America is a non-profit nationwide network of hunger-relief food banks. It provides food to more than 37 million people through 61,000 food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters in communities across America. 412 Food Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger by organizing volunteers to deliver surplus food to insecure communities instead of landfills. Since its creation in 2015, the organization has redistributed over three million pounds of food through the use of its mobile application, Food Rescue Hero. They are currently rolling out the app nationwide.
